H.M.I. s

H.M.I. is abbreviation for Human Machine Interface.  They range from Basic tabular and graphical displays, to the "pretty" methods of viewing systems.  High Sights staff will be glad to work with you to provide any method of HMI you choose, with any design, or multiple designs.

Three examples of HMIs are;

1 – Campbell Scientific’s own Tabular and Graphical display methods.  This is the easiest and least expensive way to monitor and control ALL of your SCADA systems in one place.

The Tables are infinitely editable, with custom formatting if desired, as well as with the Graphical views.  All information is managed with these displays, and any number of views can be saved or designed for specific users.

All this capability is inherent in the basic Campbell software at no extra charge.

The next HMI example is;

2 – Campbell Scientific’s RTMC Real Time Monitoring and Control.  This moderately priced HMI is an add-on the the Campbell software, and displays any of their data from their DataLoggers in graphs and charts with custom icons and widgets.  The screens of information can be created with any combination of colors and designs for staff to view at-a-glance or to interact with.  System security can be implemented for your data or operations, along with alarm notifications.  After initial purchase, there is no yearly renewal fee for this software addition.  Here are a few example images of the Campbell RTMC screens.

3 – VT Scada.  This software is from Trihedral, Inc., and stands for Visual Tag Scada (formerly VTS).  This software offers extensive graphic capabilities but significantly more complicated methods for displaying your information.  As long as budget considerations are a minor factor, the VT Scada system will provide exceptionally detailed graphic screens, customizable user access, with a full array of alarm types and notifications.

We are an authorized distributor and developer of VT Scada displays, and are fully willing to provide these services to you.  Yearly support renewals are required, and training classes by Trihedral, Inc. are regularly provided for a fee.
