Here are some pictures of the folding mast bracket we've put in at Weir 1.
Note the boat crank, stainless steel cable and pulleys for lowering mast.
We got the solar panel and rain gauge up about 12 ft, hopefully out of danger forever!
Here is the mast in lowered postion, for maintaining the solar panel and rain gauge.
For extra tamper-proofing, the crank handle has been removed (stored in the SCADA box), and a nut and bolt installed to prevent the crank lock from being disengaged.
