Briarcliff Master 14601 6 Mile Cypress Pkwy., Ft. Myers
Briarcliff is the most majorly used site, with occasional gate operations.
Access to the Master side is from 6 Mile Cypress Pkwy., just west of the railroad and down the dirt road.
Access to the Slave side must be from Briarcliff Rd, through several gates, and one spillway.
The spillway can be driven when water is flowing over it a few inches, but BE CAREFUL.
During a short period of the year, water levels are down enough for a person to walk across the whole weir from the Master side to the Slave side. But, carrying a ladder or tools would make that very challenging.
